The Well Church
What We Believe
Our faith is rooted in the timeless truth of Scripture. These core beliefs shape everything we do.
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."— 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT)
Our Foundation
At the Well, we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life. These beliefs are not just doctrines we hold — they are the living truths we build our lives upon.
We invite you to explore what we believe and why. If you have questions or want to talk through any of these truths, we'd love to connect with you.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
God the Father
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who is holy, loving, and sovereign over all creation.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering us to live godly lives, understand Scripture, and serve the body of Christ.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a free gift of God, not earned by works.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, and serve the world in love.
Baptism
We believe baptism is an outward declaration of an inward transformation — a public testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
Eternal Life
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people — believers to eternal life with God, and those who reject Christ to eternal separation from Him.
